Elaio
Elaio was founded by Marianne Grantham after she spent several years spent in India. Marianne was fascinated by the women of India with their colours and shakti strength, and at the age of 21, was led from Australia to Rajasthan in Northern India to live a more simple spiritual life in the ashram of Jadan.
After being immersed in the daily rituals of Rajasthan and being so close to the earth, its people, and the simple village ways of life, Elaio was born. “With playful hypnotic eyes, and cheeky smiles the Indian women taught me how to live in harmony with nature and appreciate the beauty of simplicity which now has inspired me on my path with Elaio.” – Marianne.
Elaio takes inspiration from the ancient Mediterranean cultures, where ritual beauty was a holistic philosophy. Elaio uses sacred blends of oils and waxes that not only heal and protect the body temple but nourish and harmonise the energies of the mind and spirit as well.
Elaio brings ancient beauty knowledge into a modern chic form, their ethos is designed to remind us of the secret wisdom from these long-lost cultures.
